The State of Washington has six (6) graduate colleges and universities, 34 community and technical colleges and contributes to one (1) tribally-controlled. In addition, there are numerous independent (privately-funded) colleges which make up the 143 college campuses statewide.

Along with the many colleges offering vocational-type classes, some predominately, we also have listed in our trade school directories over 100 'exclusively vocational' trade schools with a website as well (due to the character of our directories, they must be 'brick-n-mortar' and have a website to be listed). For information on the business sector, amenities and other aspects of a particular area, few places are better sources than the chamber of commerce of any city such as the Bellingham/Whatcom Chamber of Commerce & Industry or the Pasco Chamber of Commerce.
