Utah has five (5) universities, four (4) community colleges and a college of applied technology. Including the independent (privately-funded) colleges, there are 77 college campuses statewide.

Utah College of Applied Technology - UCAT is a new concept in applied technology education apparently situated within already existent college campuses in several locations (unclear whether it is a college within a college or a ‘stand alone’ college).
